I had almost given up on finding an affordable tour operator by the time I found Zanirah Tours & Safaris. Not only were they able to accommodate my budget but they came up with an itinerary based on the suggestions I put forward and included venues and activities that I specifically asked for. The team was extremely prompt and efficient in all correspondence and very helpful in terms of suggestions and answering any questions that I had. The guides provided were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. The transport provided was upmarket and air-conditioned. We were in Zanzibar for 7 days and 5 of those days were filled with events organized by Zanirah Tours & Safaris.

My friends and I stayed in Zanzibar for a few days in July and arranged our trip via Zanirah Tours & Safaris. After exchanging emails with a variety of companies in Zanzibar I realized immediately that this was the company to work with. The itinerary that they suggested was wonderful but also realistic so that we would enjoy ourselves and not be flat out tired at the end of the day. They also quoted reasonable prices. I am so happy that our trip went well and I would definitely recommend the tour company to others that are planning to spend time in Zanzibar. The dolphin tour, the swahili lunch, and the Stone Town City Tour were all great. I would also recommend Hotel RIU Palace Zanzibar for accommodation.

My 4 friends and I just got back from Zanzibar and our 2 full days of wonderful tours with Zanirah Tours & Safaris. With only 2 days in Zanzibar they helped us put together tours to include everything we wanted to cover in our limited time there. They were organized, on time, and knowledgeable. Our great guide was informative, accommodating, and very helpful. He shared great stories about the history and culture of Zanzibar and made us feel at home. We arranged for airport pickup and drop off with them as well which was a great alternative to getting swamped by porters and taxi drivers on arrival. I highly recommend this company if you want to see Zanzibar away from the crowds and at your own pace.

I travelled to Tanzania and as it was my first time travelling to Africa, I thought it would be safer and easier to get someone to organize things for me before I leave. The team at the Zanirah Tours & Safaris were awesome! I managed to get myself a personalized itinerary with safari in the Northern circuit, trip to Stone Town and Dar es Salaam; transport and tours all organized via email. The price is very reasonable too - comparable to the local prices you'll get when you reach there. As I was busy with a volunteer programme while I was there, getting everything sorted out for my weekend and last week of travelling was great! I would definitely recommend this company if you are travelling to Tanzania.
